Amazing horse camps and one on ones for kids of all ages. Vanessa delivers amazing experiences that encourage responsibility, stewardship and an understanding of horses. It is not just a day with horses, it is much more than that. My child has learned how to treat, respect and care for horses and others and at the same time has been given confidence from the whole experience. We are lucky to have Giddy Up Equine in Squamish.
Vanessa is an absolutely amazing teacher. She is very kind and patient and explains everything in a way that my kids understand. It has been such a gentle and enlightening way to learn not just about riding, but about caring for horses.
We love Vanessa! She meets people where they are at and is very attuned to the children and horses. She has incredible patience and a calm demeanour and with her support, my very nervous rider was able to meet her goals and gain invaluable confidence. We can't wait for our next session.
This Pro D day camp was an amazing experience for my animal obsessed 8 year old daughter. Well priced and well run, it was a lovely experience with horses on a beautiful farm. This is a highly recommended opportunity for any child who loves horses - the kids were introduced to horsemanship, learned how to care for horse, got to go for a ride, and then did art crafts in the afternoon in a dry covered area.
My daughter loved the PD day horse camp. The weather was terrible but she didn't complain about it at all. The entire night she couldn't stop talking about it. The instructors are incredibly kind, helping my shy girl participate and enjoy the day. Will be doing it again for sure.

My daughter loves riding Avalon at this ranch. The staff are kind and the horses are beautiful. The camps for kids are a nice way to spend school holidays :)
Vanessa is kind and understanding with all children. She uses the correct horse for the children. I would and do recommend giddy up.
Such a fantastic experience. Grooming, tacking and a ride that takes you on a tour of the gorgeous rescue grounds. Excellent for young children!
My twin boys, who are 9 have attended camp at Giddy Up Equine. They had the best time! They were asking when they could go back next. Also Vanessa sent us some pictures of their experiences and it is so special to have these memories. I would highly recommend Giddy Up Equine, we will continue to keep up with their programs, camps and classes in the future. This is a gem in Squamish, can't recommend enough.

It's the best learning experience my daughter have with Vanessa. The learning environment is safe. Vanessa is an experiment coach and she is very patient and helpful with kids. I can see a quickly progress and my daughter is always happy to go riding with Vanessa. I highly recommend this program to your kid. It's a beautiful introduction of horse riding.
My kids are loving their lessons! Their instructor, Vanessa is absolutely amazing. Her demeanour helped my shy kids and even finding the right horse for them. Seeing all the work they put into the horses and the ranch is a blessing. The scenery is an added bonus.
